Training.

Computers were intended as a way of reducing the mundane, repetitive tasks at work. When computers were first introduced to the workplace, there was talk of how everyone could work part time, there would be no paper or other resources used, no stress, and the sun would shine every day.

However, as you complete yet another 10 hour day, emerging from beneath a stack of incorrectly printed documents, with the rain hammering against the window and your stress level at breaking point, you realise that this was a lie.

It doesn't have to be that way. A computer should be an enhancement to your working life, not a hindrance.

Our training courses are innovative, in that each course is designed around you. We no longer run the traditional type of course, where a group of students work through a course book in a classroom. While it may make you feel nostalgic for your schooldays, you can bet that 90% of what you learnt will be forgotten by the time you get back into the office.

We have found that by far the most effective method of learning is for you to have a goal in mind, for example the creation of an Access Database, or efficient Mail Merge Operations. Your tutor will then sit with you for a day or two, and help you achieve what you want. This "Learn As You Go" method has proved to be extremely successful in practice.

We can help you with all the Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint, VB and VBA programming and computerised accountancy systems such as Sage - contact us to find out more.
